FAQs

Where is the venue?

Our dear friends Left Lane Hospitality had the good foresight to transform Savannah’s famous Mansion at Forsyth Park into the city’s newest and most exciting hotel experience. Despite having no engineering or architectural training whatsoever, Ray+Trey took it upon themselves to conduct a thorough hard hat walkthrough of the venue and the grounds and determined, yes, they have a pool and it looks fancy. So the contract was signed and the Hotel Bardo <imbedded link> will host the wedding activities.

Where exactly is the Hotel Bardo?

The hotel is located at 700 Drayton Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401

What do I wear?

While we honor the fact that America is an inherently free country, unfortunately, our wedding is not. If you’d like to celebrate with us we will require a tuxedo and/or a gown. We want everyone at the wedding to feel elegant and sexy. Plus, when everyone is dressed in the same type of uniform you know what makes you stand out? Your personality. And that personality is the very reason you were invited to our big day. We look forward to watching this group share the love they’ve shared with Ray and/or Trey over the years with everyone we hold dear in our hearts. TLDR: Black tie

Where can we stay?

The Hotel Bardo. We have a roomblock <embedded>.

We missed the roomblock!

Ok, first off, chill, that wasn’t even a question. Second, we’ve linked to some lovely hotels walking distance from the Hotel Bardo which we strongly recommend for reasons that’ll become apparent later in the FAQs.

Is there a welcome party?

Yes, there is! We will be officially kicking off the wedding weekend on Saturday, October 5th with 25,000 of our closest friends when we descend on Forsyth Park to enjoy the Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra’s annual Phil in the Park. This is one of the largest annual civic events in Savannah and should prove to be a magical welcoming for all our friends and family traveling from near and far. The mainstage is conveniently located across the street from the Hotel Bardo. Somewhat inconveniently, the event will close down Drayton Street for most of the day on Saturday hence the strong recommendation for walkable accommodations. We’ll have more details available closer to the day-of but please plan to make it. And if you’re worried you don’t know anything about classical music, neither do Ray+Trey.

Why is the wedding on a Sunday?

Because we didn’t want to compete with a literal symphony.

Is there parking available?

Maybe. We live in New York. How the hell should we know what to do with a car? But we did hear the Hotel Bardo has valet.

Can we bring our kids?

No

Seriously? No kids?

Yes. Enjoy your night of freedom.
